After being incorrectly fined by HMRC, a business owner contacted my office for help. Following our intervention, the fine was waived — removing a major financial burden and helping the business continue operating. If you need help with a government department, my office is here to help.

Thank you to everyone who came to my MP Surgery at Ladies Walk Sedgley Community Centre on Friday. It was great to hear directly from residents about the issues affecting them and discuss how I can continue standing up for Dudley locally and in Parliament. Dudley first. Always.

It was good to meet with @patmcfaddenmp.bsky.social to discuss the challenges facing young people in Dudley. We discussed Trailblazer opportunities and the role Allied Health Professionals can play in reducing NEET levels through early support, rehabilitation and mental health services. 🌹

Since 2024, this Labour Government has delivered stronger workers’ rights, Great British Energy, rail back into public ownership, renters’ rights and action on anti-social behaviour. The King’s Speech set out the next steps to rebuild Britain and for working people in Dudley.

Yesterday’s King’s Speech showed a Labour Government focused on jobs, opportunity and dignity. From the Youth Guarantee and apprenticeships to the Right to Try for disabled people, these measures will help people here in Dudley get on in life after years of Conservative failure.
