I'm continuing to hear from constituents about the poor Royal Mail service in Skelmersdale. I have also now written directly to the Chief Executive, Mr Alistair Cochrane, to raise my serious concerns about the service.

The Labour Party must do the hard work of winning back the trust of the people; to do that we must be united. As the ballot for PMBs takes place this morning I’m calling on any Labour MPs drawn not to divide us again. Only 6% of voters say this issue is a priority www.theguardian.com/society/2026...

Assisted Dying Bill Voted AGAINST
I have consistently raised issues that the legislation to introduce assisted dying in England and Wales as drafted is not workable or safe. Members of both Houses have constructively sought to propose amendments but the proposers of the Bill have failed to accept them.

NHS Waiting List Targets Absent / no vote
📢NHS waiting lists are down! Brilliant news that NHS waiting lists fell across England by 86,000 in November. This is the second biggest drop in NHS waiting lists in 15 years, despite record demand in 2025, a challenging winter and strikes.
