(1/2) What’s it like for working-class people trying to build a career in theatre? I hosted another Creative Industries Roundtable - this time with institution leaders, top technicians and performers from working‑class backgrounds all working with the stage.

Yesterday I voted to nationalise British Steel. By investing £2.5bn into the industry and bringing it back into public ownership, the Gov will get steel back on its feet. Here's to more nationalisation and more protection for manufacturing jobs.

Water Company Regulation Absent / no vote
(1/3) Since Thames Water's proposed deal with Ofwat has come to light, nearly 200 constituents have contacted me to oppose it and protect our waterways. This deal would allow the water company to pollute our rivers and lakes for 15 years unpenalised. 🧵

NHS Waiting List Targets Absent / no vote
